D (II)

a zen like detachment
is only a third person view
of things - he, she, it and them

let's just pretend -
it's their business anyway

...

and that silence makes more sense in between the pointless words
the sound of breathing and the rustling of the unread morning news paper

the pauses in between a car horn hoot a pleasant melody, self made notes
and that the soul, the essence reveals itself in moments of no sound

well, there is no owl
there needn't be one, at all

and it is no lie

circle. circus. citrus.

nothing but a set of dots spread around another dot, all set equally away or equally close to the dot formerly addressed 'another' dot
~
without a start and without an end can a walker walk on with no sense of beginning and no sense of end and with no sense of position any point in time
~
angels, angel wings in silver, fluttering over and above the traced line or them dots set next closely to each other and the angels blink and blink and think and think
~
where the beginning is the end and the end the beginning, there's nothing in between and everything's in between, and there is no in between or it is only in between, to state for the in between-th time
~
ah grapes, not citrus at all, said the fox when it was seen last somewhere around, with a sour face, sore feet and a handful of angel dust

when i was 23 (i was invisible)

to wake me up to wake you up the clock crows at the break of dawn in its all too well rehearsed and programmed electronic voice - the voice that is the same every morning and every night only that it sounds different when in times of joy or being alone

water in bottles by the bed side is only water yet it may resemble all of your yesterday and every other day in liquid time filling the bottle to the brim standing by your side waiting for you to drink or pour on yourself and soak in

at the wash basin the lamp, the mercury lamp sings a silver glow song, for the best songs are seen and seldom heard, when you open your eyes, music plays and all the colour bulbs do play a grand orchestra -  strings, flutes, bells, drums and all that you see or listen to in purple and green and gold and yellow and
or or in just shades of blue

almost all evenings are the same, a fever on a winter night wouldn't help any with a cold, while one can only hope to fall asleep with a smile till the clock crows at the break of dawn in its all too well rehearsed and programmed electronic voice

when i was 23, i was invisible - at times i do talk about (being invisible within brackets)

shadows

i am my shadow in another dimension
and my shadow is more real than i
i give up trying to understand myself
and my shadow is easy to see and be

my shadow is me in real loss of light
lightless, my shadow makes me move
and be the way the shadow should be
there by defining its existence for itself

in all lightness and lightlessness
my shadow and i share one soul
easy, easy as existing and being
we co-exist, an unsolved puzzle

to us both

the weight

the weight

on your wings, on your feet
on your back as you walk
in those eyes you meet
in the words as you talk

the weight

it's the weight -
the weight of all days past
and the wait
for them to disappear, fast

the weight -

them balls of lead
them images of the mind
yet to fade, bright red
play uncontrollably again - rewind

nonsense. junk. part 17.

the days are unusually long with almost always nothing to do
moments that pass by are senseless like the stars that twinkle at a distance
for no particular reason at all, for no one, but they are the same stars -
that did make sense once upon a little while ago - a day or a week or a year before
the moments are just the same that now just refuse to pass on by
junk generation, memories made and nothing besides - pushes one from moment to moment
and at the end of the day when one turns around what is left behind is
only a back-yard filled with junk that refuse to disappear or to fade away
when sense makes no sense, when nonsense prevails as it did all one's life past
it's only the souls of the running shoes that wear out and
still the back-yard gathers more junk in pink and purple, blue and green

Recall: Rhyme

Things do rhyme - with
Things
Or some such

Like being lost rhymes - with
Being born
Or some such

Things / Things / Things / Things
Lost / Born / Lost / Born

Yes they do!

nocturnal fishes

all them bats
went a-fishing

fishes, oh sleepless fishes
troubled fishes, nocturnal fishes

were caught - they
complained sleeplessness

never again.

WoC

(DS, for!)

to learn sorrow
or to spend a weekend alone
or to learn to live wise
or to be the way it is

is no sin
is no shame

trees sans leaves, do live
so is living with none to give
nothing to

is no sin
is no shame

A: I am an objectivist!
A': Oh, how would I know?
A: Test me!
A': A joke!
A: Ha ha ha!
A': You win, you are an objectivist!
A: I told you!

_A_

all that separates
all that is and the window
is almost always a river

the curtains wave
weaving a good bye
or a welcome

all that separates
all that is and the window
is this time, a river

being treeing

try not to be a tree
- be a tree
for the tree never tries to be a tree
but it is one
if you want to be a tree
you should be one
if you want to be a tree, you should know you are one
if you want to be a tree, you can never be a tree
you are a tree when you know you are a tree
try not to, want not to, know not to
be a tree

then you are one!

God

outside...

1

Outside people walk, together and apart

Their footsteps soft, inaudible, on carpeted floors red

Trees, trees by their sides, smiling

I wish to stop them passing by, for small talk

And to keep me alive, awake and undead

2

Inside the glass room, soft pawed cats walk on table tops

Breathing slow, in a steady rhythm

Echoing purple, lightning shines, inside glass bottles

3

Old man moves around, wearing just socks

His boots have walked all the way, all alone

Away from him, till the end of the world

They know more trees and more smiles met on the way

Old man moves around, only inside his mind

His own space, his own sky, moon, clouds and stars

4

Lost, they are, looking for blue, glue, so be you

Words written on walls in a child’s scribble

Super secrets sowed super deep, a careless scrawl

Wish you knew when it was written
