I wake up

I wake up to the music of sound laughing out loud playing cricket playing songs by The Beatles playing with words playing the fool playing footsie with left foot playing party pooper not letting them have fun playing mind games playing truant playing the silent thinking kind playing the part sitting on a table resting hands on a chair four legs at a time singing songs humming tunes in harmony making the breeze sound like the bees making one say things like is it the breeze or is it the bees or are they the bees or is it just the breeze it’s getting cold I’d freeze is it the breeze or is it bees are they the bees peas peace knees niece horse mare neighs in the dictionary one after the other no commas or periods in between three to five days a month how painful how lucky to not have to go through it all month after month, month after month a comma to avoid a red line wriggly worm in the middle of the ocean where swim sharks and whales in blue and white sharp teeth shaving blades razor wheeze racer and I wake up smelling like a banana flower smelling like a rose and a violet and a lotus and a ripe banana all at the same time smelling like her smelling like you smelling like everything that I should have been some time or at some other time in life once upon a long time ago or once upon a some time ago baking a cake with soda and sauce
