10 bus-y hours

10 hours in three different buses
uncomfortable seats
journey even before the sun when the morning smelt
of some flowers and breeze and noises many
a doubtful mind a mind with many doubts
way home how how how
a seat in the second row ah, snug
tight close windows, look out, let not the breeze in
nice oh nice, 5 hours of broken sleep
and not so broken back, only a little
sun out, air pleasantly heated up
hunger quenched, a hearty costly breakfast
more bus-y, the next bus
oh no, last seat, last seat
a row before, a man, his family
their little quarrel with the bus tickets man
three adults 1 child or two adults two children
settled for three adults 1 child
dharma bums, pages digested, more sleep
2 magazines, one book, seven bucks change missed
blessed be that magazine shop man
more grrrm brrrm of the bus engine roar
open eyes, stop, get down
a can of cola and next level of bus-iness
more grrrm brrrm of the next engine roar
4 in a seat for 3, love, fellow beings and all that
blessed be the world
blessed be the layer of dirt on my skin
blessed all the sweat
blessed the back, now broken
blessed be the home-coming-joy!
