the shade that made him remember yesterday,
reflecting all of yesterday's moments and memories,
the shade behind closed eyes, all the time,
the shade of joy,
and the shade of everything but joy,
the shade of my sky,
the shade of the sea,
the shade of everything that ever was
and is.

It can't ever be anything but "my" sky, can it? :)

but I had to change it to,
"the shade of my sky,
the shade of the sea"
and it felt nice - a reference to sky sounds better only with a "my" :)
