Little Liny's best Friend

Little Liny had always cried
That he never made no friends, howmuchever he tried
So he prayed to God for a friendship deep
With some more thoughts he went to sleep
In the same unearthly nightly hour
Little Liny got this unusual power
There was this sudden dream
In a background the colour of cream
When he turned around on his bed
A dreamy voice from the skies it said
'The first thing you draw after
You wake up'll be your best friend forever
But remember this - you should draw your friend
In one go from start to end
You should never take your hand
Off the painting, that is banned
Coz the painting should be one continuous line
I hope you use it real fine
Finish your painting, it will be fun
And say 'Oh God!' when you are done
Once this is said, you'll get your painting in life
To relieve you off all your strife
So cry no more, no more you weep
Draw the friend you always you wanted!' Beep Beep
And the dream was gone
Little Liny woke up, thinking who's to be drawn
He said 'I don’t have any friend now
I will draw my best friend I need, anyhow!'
And he ran for his brush and palette
With his 'Rainbow paint-all' colour set
He was so excited, was in much hurry
To draw his best friend, to laugh with and make merry
He got things ready, dipped his brush in paint
And something happened that made him faint
A drop of paint splattered from his brush
Onto his sheet, in his mad rush
And Little Liny said unconsciously 'Oh! God!'
The voice that spoke in dreams gave an approving nod
True to every dream-spoken word
The droplet was to take life in this world
The paint dripped down
And took a new life in that town
And Little Liny lived happily ever after I think
Forever friends with a living droplet of ink!
